Everyone has 24 hours in a given day. But how each one of us use that 24 hour is different. Some people make it as productive as possible and some people waste it without even realizing the value of time. The difference in between these two groups of people is habits. One group has good habits and another has bad habits.

To be successful in life, to be happier in life you should have good habits. But building good habits or sticking on to good habits is never enjoyable. It takes time and effort. First accept that fact.

You couldn't stop yourself from.doing something that you have been doing for a very long time. But there are consequences for every single bad habit one day it will come after you for sure. 

First of all, when we perform any action repeatedly it becomes our habit. So consistency is the key to building any habit. But to stick to any habit, especially when you try to build a new habit you have to start small. Because sudden change is not possible.

When it seems small and easier you will automatically get motivation to do it every single day. After a while you will start to dedicate more time for it. Because the magic of any good habit when you perform it for a while you will get a feeling of progress. You will realize constant growth is guaranteed if you make this habit as a part of your life.

As we discussed starting small will.motivate you to do it every single day. Another thing you can do to stick on to a good habit is set things in your living environment that inspire you to perform that habit. For example if you see sweet foods every single time you sit at the dining table you can't stop yourself from tasting them. It's not easy. The key is to remove the things that trigger bad habits in you. 

If your living environment is filed with things that inspire you to build good habits you are more likely to stick on to those good habits. 

When you do this - doing it every single day and making visible changes in your living environment, sticking on to a new good habit never seems so hard.

When you succeed in making a new habit as part of your life you will automatically get a drive to add more productive habits and eliminate as many bad habits as you can. That drive you are going to get is as valuable as the success of building a new healthy habit.
