Does living together constitute the new normal?

Changing times call for changing ways of thinking. This society which was closed off from innovations and relationships is shaping itself into what it wants to be. There are many young couples who are experimenting with an entirely novel kind of marriage. The vast majority of them tend to avoid getting married. They would like to get into a long-term relationship, without signing any legal agreements. Thus, they end up living together as a married couple without having to go through the wedding process, which is why a live-in relationship could be considered convenient.

Live-in-relationship

It is becoming increasingly popular among Indian youth. With this reason in mind, the numbers of couples who opt to live together before marriage are rising. The main issue is no legal hassles, no fear of divorce, mutual respect, and a reduced sense of responsibility make this a happy relationship. They do so in order to have a chance to learn more about the personality and inner qualities of the other person. Being under one roof for a certain time would definitely allow one to see the other side of the person. In terms of ending a relationship, it is an easier task when compared to if the couple was legally bound and married.

Commitment

In Indian society, where marriage is seen as an eternal institution, live-in relationships have become more prevalent in the recent years. When two people start a relationship, they would definitely go out of their way to learn about each other's emotions and work hard to keep their relationship strong. Furthermore, the families of both individuals would support them and guide them in the right direction when things took an unexpected turn. In other words, live-in relationships form the subject of endless debate. Ultimately, the decision rests solely with the individual.

Don't forget there are no happy endings in any relationship, and you will face ups and downs throughout life, which is quite normal.
