How To Build Trust In Relationships

Being trustworthy is the most important factor to build strong beautiful relationships. If someone trusts you with their life that’s undoubtedly the biggest achievement of your life. Because trust is a value that can’t be bought with all the money in the world. Let's check how to build trust in relationships.

To lead a happy, fulfilling life is the dream of every single human in this world. As you all know, healthy relationships are the foundation of a meaningful life. Everyone craves for the attention, love and respect from others. What most people don’t know is that the habit of pleasing never helps to build trust and true love. If you are a person who keeps values regardless of the situation others will automatically love and respect you.

What do you normally expect from a relationship? Love, respect, honesty, supportiveness, encouragement, kindness...etc. when the outside situations  are pleasant anyone can express these qualities. But if these qualities are the part of someone’s personality no matter how worse the outside conditions are he/she will express these values without fail. When it's the habit of someone to express human values independent of the situations others will trust that person with their life.

As you know there is no person who is all good or all bad. But with the right understanding anyone can build any habit. Trust in a relationship completely depends on how you treat the other person. If you are someone who believes your qualification, your job position, your bank balance or your influence is a tool to control the life of others then you can’t really build trust in your relationship.

No one has the right to control anyone’s life. True love never controls, always liberates. When you don’t stop someone from being their true self, when you don’t stop them from pursuing their dreams, when you show no hesitation in giving appreciation and showing gratitude that’s how a true relationship is built. Nobody can stop themselves from trusting a person with those qualities.

You won’t lose anything by letting someone to be his true self. Don’t expect someone to behave in the way you expect. Giving the freedom and courage to be the true self is the best gift you can give in your relationship. When you liberate someone in this way all your actions and words have unexplainable positive energy that help that person to grow in every possible way. On the other hand when you force someone to be in your way the second person will lose the freedom of choice.

When that kind of forcing mentality appears, relationships become weaker overtime. True love or trust is not possible in such a relationship.

As we discussed earlier, compassion, kindness, encouragement, deep listening power, supportiveness...etc. will naturally come to a person who has the heart to let others live their own version of life. When that quality becomes a part of someone’s personality, those who are around him can’t stop themselves from trusting him. Naturally, strong meaningful relations become easier for such a person.
